Kaleidoscope

Detroit, 2015

Inspiration

The collection explores colour in contrast, juxtaposed against black and white.

It draws from the idea that even fragmented elements can create coherence, where broken forms reorganise into new visual compositions.

Platform

Presented in WALK Detroit, 2015

Work

The collection explores:

  • colour juxtaposition on monochrome surfaces
  • organza silk as a medium for structure and flow
  • transparency layered with controlled form

Garments are developed through the interaction of lightness and structure, where organza allows both movement and definition within the silhouette.
